Day 38: Compassion in Bonding (Tiferet of Yesod) by Simonette Cherepanov

As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.” – Psalm 103:13

Compassion brings warmth and healing to our connections. While discipline ensures clarity, compassion softens the edges and nurtures the heart of the bond. It allows us to meet others in their struggles, not with judgment, but with gentle strength. Compassion within bonding reminds us that even the strongest relationships need tenderness.

Tiferet (compassion, harmony) in Yesod creates a beautiful balance. It harmonizes the firmness of discipline and the warmth of lovingkindness, allowing bonds to be both secure and soothing. Compassion does not excuse harmful behavior, but it always seeks restoration and redemption.

Ask yourself today: Who in my life needs a compassionate presence? Are there strained connections that need the balm of grace? Pray for the wisdom to bring harmony into your bonds—through listening ears, open hearts, and gentle hands.
